C.I Agrícolas las Flores S.A.S was founded in 2007, by a visionary person with knowledge of international marketing. Its origins date back to the 1950s. Thanks to the banana tradition that is part of the genes of the founding partner and his faithful belief in the trade of goods as a source of economic development. C.I Agrícolas las Flores S.A.S specializes in the marketing of fresh fruit. C.I Agrícolas Las Flores SAS, is the fruit of many years dedicated to the production, marketing and processing of bananas. There are already 4 generations of the family dedicated to agricultural activity, and especially to the cultivation of bananas, which has been rooted in the Magdalena region for more than 100 years, this being the first area that produced and exported bananas in Colombia.
In the first years we concentrated on exporting fruits to the Caribbean islands, exports were also made to Canada and Europe. In 2016 we began a business relationship with Del Monte Fresh Produce, supplying them with organic bananas from our farms, among other companies.
At the end of 2017 we began a new challenge which is the production and marketing of dehydrated fruits, especially organic bananas, achieving brand positioning with our products as an indispensable sales strategy tool. In 2019 we started our organic pineapple papaya crops for the European and Canadian markets.
